Agribusiness on track
The cost of logistics in Brazil is 13% of GDP, while in the United States it is just under 8%.
As Brazil’s GDP in 2022 was R$9.9 trillion, we’re talking about an annual waste of R$500 billion.
In 2022, 20% of Brazil’s cargo was transported by rail and in order to be more competitive in logistics, the ideal would be for Brazil to be able to increase this to 40% in 15 years.
