German company signs partnership to develop private railroad in Maranhão
GPM – Grão-Pará Maranhão with its strategic partners Deutsche Bahn and Sysfer Consultoria E Sistemas are developing the enterprise #ef317tpa and #energia.
The venture aims not only to boost the country’s economy and logistics, but also to create ties with multinational companies to develop an international industrial hub. It will have a 520km railroad from Alcântara to Açailândia, a 25m natural depth port, with the possibility to transport grains in capesize ships and a renewable energy hub.

Sysfer Consultoria E Sistemas- A 100% Brazilian company founded in 1995, born from the union of technicians and consultants with extensive experience in project management in the areas of transport logistics, asset management and consulting metro railways. In 2022 it was awarded as the best Railway Consultant in the 13th TOP Engenharias prize, category Best Consultant in the Railway Transport Sector.
