GPM – Grão-Pará Maranhão visits Hamburg Port
GPM – Grão-Pará Maranhão: Executive Directors, Nuno Gustavo Martins and Paulo Salvador made a technical visit to the Port of Hamburg
The Port of Hamburg is located on the Elbe River in Germany. It is known as the “Gateway to the World” in Germany, as well as the largest in the country. It is among the top 20 busiest ports in terms of TEU’s worldwide. After being unloaded in Hamburg, goods are distributed, especially via the rail modal, to various regions in Europe. It is operated by the Hamburg Port Authority and handles some 11,000 container, bulk, and general cargo ships annually.
